IB to GPA Conversion Guide: How International Baccalaureate Scores Convert

The IB Diploma Programme grades subjects on a 1–7 scale:

This is a rough guide only. A student with 38 total points but 7s in all HL subjects may be more competitive than a 40-point student with all SL courses and weaker HL performance.
